It’s a term that is used a lot in business today when referring to the “who” in a company, and for our team at Kenex it has resulted in our own personal values being aligned with the overall company values, purpose and mission of Kenex.

It takes effort to achieve this, and we see it as an investment in our team and our future together which yields such positive results for our clients as well.

In order to gain alignment, dedicated time must be given to working on defining those values. The process of defining our purpose, values and mission has provided clarity for all areas of the business, from recruitment through to project execution. It means we are all working together as one, towards a common goal, with an agreed set of priorities, and our clients benefit from this investment due to the high standard of work maintained across all areas of the business. As such, we see our values demonstrated every day through the work we do and how we interact with each other. Our values define the “who” in our business.

We at Kenex are deliberate in our actions to achieve and maintain alignment with our team in a variety of different ways, including regular strategic planning days, toolboxes and team building activities. We keep it fun and light to promote open communication and there’s always an afternoon BBQ or pizza lunch involved!
